1st ROUND Virtual AUDITION DETAILS

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age by October 1, 2024
  • Must attend all practices, games, training camps, and mandatory Trail Blazers events
  • Practices are held twice a week – Tuesday and Thursday evenings (beginning late August, time TBA). Additional practices may be added throughout the season.
  • RCC will perform at half of the home games throughout the entire season. You will be expected to arrive at the Moda Center by 3pm on game days. A tentative schedule will be released prior to the season.

Virtual Open Call Audition

  • Submit application by Tuesday, July 30:
  • Audition choreography video and music will be posted on www.vegadancelab.com the morning of Friday, August 2.
  • You must learn the audition choreography provided in the video
  • Video record yourself performing the audition choreography
  • Include a quick introduction of yourself in the beginning
  • Film horizontally and be sure to include your entire body
  • Your video must be submitted to ripcitycrew.pdx@gmail.com by 11:59 p.m. (PST) on Sunday, August 4th
  • Finalists for in-person auditions will be notified via email by Tuesday, August 6th

Come Prepared

Solo Routine Details

  • Prepare a 45 - 60 second solo routine to any style of your choice that showcases your strength. You will be performing your solo on day 2.
  • Please be sure your music is appropriate and edited.
  • Finalists will receive instructions on how to submit their music.

What to Wear & Bring

  • SAT. 8/17: Please wear comfortable dance attire that will showcase your movement quality. Please come looking performance and stage ready, including attention to hair and make up (if applicable).
  • SUN. 8/18: Please wear black, red, and/or white performance dance attire. No strict dress code, but please come looking performance and stage ready, including attention to hair and make up (if applicable)
  • Water, snacks, towel. There will be short breaks throughout the days, but not long enough to leave the site for food.
  • A positive attitude for clapping and cheering each other on.
